Tomkinson, ex-supervisor da Unidade de Espetroscopia Molecular, S. Parker e V. Garcia-Sakai). Este laborat\u00f3rio alberga o feixe de neutr\u00f5es mais potente do mundo, que permite levar a cabo investiga\u00e7\u00e3o de ponta, nomeadamente obter informa\u00e7\u00e3o estrutural rigorosa sobre compostos biologicamente relevantes atrav\u00e9s da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da espetroscopia vibracional de dispers\u00e3o inel\u00e1stica e <em>quasi<\/em>-el\u00e1stica de neutr\u00f5es (INS e QENS), que possibilita a dete\u00e7\u00e3o de modos de baixa frequ\u00eancia n\u00e3o acess\u00edveis aos m\u00e9todos vibracionais \u00f3ticos de Raman e infravermelho.
