João Martins

João Martins is a Biologist and holds a PhD in Biosciences (specialization in Biotechnology) from the University of Coimbra. He is a researcher at the Molecular Chemistry-Physics R&D Unit at the University of Coimbra and is currently part of the PineWALL project. His research focuses on the response of plants to abiotic and biotic stresses, with the aim of understanding resistance mechanisms and selecting tolerant plants.
