Adriana Mamede

Adriana Pires Mamede, BSc in Biochemistry, MSc in Forensic Chemistry and PhD in Biosciences is a researcher at Unidade de I&D Química-Física Molecular.
Her investigation is dedicated to the study of breast tissue using vibrational spectroscopy aiming at the identification of neoplastic alterations.
In parallel to her scientific activity, she administrates and coordinates the activities of miniBIOQS – Associação Ciência par todos, a non-profit association which goals include the communication of scientific concepts to children and teenagers.
